Salvation Army

Salvation Army kettles will soon be out at a dozen locations across Greater Sudbury to help raise money for the less fortunate in our community.

The non-profit organization kicked off its annual Christmas campaign recently with a goal of 205-thousand dollars.

Sudbury Community Ministries Coordinator, Caroline Lewis says money raised from the kettle campaign helped over 700 households during the Christmas season last year.

Anyone interested in volunteering should contact the Salvation Army site on Notre Dame Avenue.
