A $42 million lawsuit against Taylor Swift was filed a few weeks ago by an R&B singer named Jesse Graham who claimed that she stole the lyric ‘haters gonna hate’ from his song with the same title, “Shake It Off”. California Judge Gail J. Standish dismissed Jesse Graham’s claim that there was any copyright infringement on the part of Taylor and explained that the lyric used in Graham’s 2013 song ‘haters gonna hate’ was not a phrase he invented. In her verdict, the clever-tongued-judge used Taylor Swift lyrics.

Missy is back! It’s been more than 10 years since Missy Elliot last released her album “Work It”. The songwriter, rapper and producer just dropped a new single called ‘WTF (Where They From)’ featuring Pharrell.

Missy has not announced an album title or release date for the next highly anticipated record. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2014, Timbaland (friend & collaborator) said ”It’s something you ain’t never heard Missy do. It sounds today, but the future.”

Christina Aguilera was on Entertainment Tonight yesterday, addressing rumors that she played matchmaker-cupid between her fellow Voice coaches Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. Aguilera says that she wasn’t involved but that they both “deserve happiness.” “I do know from my own personal experience how difficult divorce can be,” Aguilera explains. “All I do know–from knowing Blake from so many seasons past…[and] knowing Gwen for even longer than that…they’re great people.” She went on to say that she couldn’t be happier for the pair and wishes them the best. “Especially when you have to deal with a lot of the press crap and everything,” she continued.

Katy Perry’s preacher father Keith Hudson had a bizarre run-in this week with a devout Christian after making an appearance at a Pheonix Christian radio station. In the video below, the woman criticizes Hudson for raising a daughter who “grew up to worship Satan and sleep with aliens”. She asks, “do you know that she is one of the most wicked people?”.”She is a satanic woman who has led millions to hell and you claim to have a ministry?” “I watched the video ‘E.T.’ made by your daughter. She’s having a sex [sic] with demons on the video!”
