The five-day lockout at the RONA store on Barrydowne Road is over after the workers ratified a new deal last night.

Their union -the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 175- and the company reached a tentative agreement Monday afternoon.

The group of 14 were locked out of the store last Thursday after negotiations broke down.

They had been walking the picket line since then.

One major sticking point was senior staff being forced to work on Sundays.
