Late Tuesday morning police were called to a collision on Falconbridge highway in Garson.

When they arrived, it was discovered the driver from one of the vehicles involved took off from the scene on foot.

To help catch the suspect, the Police Service’s dog Scout was called out and began a search.

After about 35 minutes and several kilometers through bush and residential areas, a suspect was found hiding.
