Chelmsford is one of the safest places to drive in Canada.

According to the 7th annual Allstate Canada Safe Driving Study, Chelmsford came is at number two with a collision frequency rate of 3.54%.

The safest place to drive is Spruce Grove, Alberta at 3.43% while the worst is Halifax, Nova Scotia at 7.12%.

Overall, Greater Sudbury ranked 28th out of the 81 communities in the study.

Collision claims in Ontario are up 8.4%.
