After Taylor Swift went dark on social media last Friday, she’s posted a cryptic image today of what looks like a tail of a snake or some reptile.

What does it mean? Too much speculation to list but one common idea is new music.

If it is new music, here are some of the rumours (remember, speculation here):

  • She’s dropping a new single on Friday.
  • She will debut the song and/or video at the VMAs on Sunday. (Is she trying to upstage Katy Perry?)
  • New album coming, which have songs about Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston. Also might have a collaboration with Drake.
