Greater Sudbury Police needed the help of their Canine officer, Scout, again last night when a car crash victim left the scene without medical treatment.

Two pedestrians were struck by a car at the Elm and Paris intersection downtown around 8:40pm.

A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but the second victim -a man- walked away from the scene.

The police service dog sniffed out the scene and found the male pedestrian a short distance away.

A man in his 20’s also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Traffic Management Unit is looking into the collision.
