Those participating in the annual Santa Shuffle usually would have to brave the cold, but it was not the case this year as it was a beautiful day for a run or a walk.

The 25th annual Santa Shuffle raises money for the Salvation Army who will use it for the Cedar Place Women and Family Shelter, The New Life Centre and Community Family Services.

It was the first year the event was held at College Boreal.

Race Director Loretta Maillet is amazed at the growth of the event which is now close to 500 participants.

The event raised over an estimated 23 thousand dollars.
