The FBI is investigating whether Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen’s wife Noor Zahi Salman knew ahead of time about his plans. According to NBC News, Salman told authorities that she was with Mateen when he bought ammunition and a holster, and once drove him to the nightclub, Pulse, because he wanted to scope it out. Salman also claimed she tried to stop her husband from carrying out the attack. However, she could still face criminal charges for failing to to tell the FBI what she knew before Mateen killed 49 and injured 53 in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. Salman, who grew up in Rodeo, California, married Mateen and moved to Florida about five years ago. Her neighbors describe her as kind and normal.

Lady Gaga joined thousands of people outside Los Angeles’ City Hall to deliver an emotional speech dedicated to the innocent victims who lost their lives in the mass shooting at Pule nightclub in Orlando
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNGMhFkUBW4&feature=share
”I know that you all have been feeling a tremendous range of emotions since we’ve all heard about this horrible, hateful attack on Orlando and on your and our community. As we have now witness the largest mass shooting in American history, I can’t help but feel that this level of hatred, like all prejudicial crimes, this is an attack on humanity itself. This is an attack on everyone. Tonight, I gather humbly with you as a human being in peace, and sincerity, and commitment, and solidarity, to take a real moment and mourn the tragic loss of these innocent and beautiful people. And let’s all today pledge an allegiance of love to them and their families who are suffering so deeply. They are sons and daughters, they’re fathers and mothers. They are all our brothers and our sisters. But tonight I will not allow my anger and outrage over this attack to overshadow our need to honor those who are grieving truly for their lost ones. Lost members of the LGBT community. I hope you know that myself and so many are your allies. Not only me but everyone here. We represent the compassion and the loyalty of millions of people around the world that believe in you; you are not alone. You are not alone. Tomorrow I hope that we all race thoughtfully and loudly towards solutions. But tonight, and right now, Orlando, we are united with you. And we are here to remember.”
— Lady Gaga speaking at the LA Vigil for the Orlando Victims

The next day, Gaga wrote on Instagram about coincidentally meeting a friend of one of the 50 victims killed in the shooting at an exercise class

After the class, the teary-eyed friend walked up to Gaga and told her he was at the rally the night before, where she recited the names of the victims. He told Gaga that the first name she read, was his friend, Edward Sotomayor Jr.

Mara Wilson, the actress best known for playing the title character in Matilda, recently took to Twitter to reflect on the Orlando gay nightclub shooting and reveal that she is bisexual. Wilson shared a photo of herself at a gay club and reflected on how the LGBTQ community has always welcomed her even when she identified as straight. “I’ve embraced the Bi/Queer label lately,” she added. Wilson went on to say that she’s “a 2” on the Kinsey scale, which is defined by the Kinsey Institute as “predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual.” She continued, “I know a lot of people don’t like the Kinsey scale, and that is fine by me. But I’m pragmatic at heart and find comfort in numbers.”

Justin Bieber performed a touching tribute to Christina Grimmie on Saturday night, collapsing to the stage floor as he sang lyrics to his song “Purpose”.

“Grimmie, can you hear me?” Bieber sings while fighting back tears

Bieber was introduced to Grimmie through his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, whose stepfather was the late singer’s manager.

Gomez also paid tribute to Grimmie onstage as she performed a cover of Hillsong Worship’s “Transfiguration”

Nick Jonas was on Jimmy Fallon, explaining how he once ate a marijuana lollipop and got an unexpected erection before presenting at the Young Hollywood Awards. The 23 year old “Champagne Problems” singer explains how, “I went to bed feeling fine. Woke up the next day and everything’s in slow motion. I’m like, ‘Oh no, this is happening. This is real,’ because I had to be up for the Young Hollywood Awards, presenting at the Young Hollywood Awards!”

Despite attempting to sleep it off for a few more hours, Jonas says he woke up even more messed up – – hearing voices in the shower. Knowing he had to present at the awards that night, Jonas put on his red suit (good choice hahaha) and headed to the awards ceremony.

“I’m feeling better and then out of no where, I get a NARB. Look, all men get a NARB from time to time. A NARB is a non–apparent reason boner.”

Then, Fallon pulls out a photo of Jonas, looking super award in his red suit at the awards show, while standing up with his hands crossed in front of him, covering his crotch.
