It was almost four years ago when a development miner was killed by loose rock underground at Coleman Mine in Levack.

Now a five day inquest from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services will be held in Sudbury, starting February 22, 2016.

That inquest was announced yesterday by the North East Regional Supervising Coroner.

47-year old Stephen Perry was killed in January 2012, but seperate investigations concluded that nothing could have been done to prevent the death.

The inquest jury may make recommendations to prevent similar accidents.
