The top baby names are out for 2015.

The most popular name for girls in Ontario was Sophia followed by Olivia, Emma, Ava and Charlotte.

As for boys, Jackson topped the list with Liam, Lucas, Jacob and Ethan rounding out the top 5.

Here in Northern Ontario….Emma was the most popular girls name in 2015 followed by Ava, Emily, Olivia and Avery.

Liam was the number one name for boys along with Jack, Mason, Benjamin and Logan.
