Sudbury’s unemployment rate dropped for the third straight month in March as it now sits at 7.4 per cent.

According to Stats Can, that’s down from 7.9 per cent in February and is the lowest it’s been since October.

It’s also down from 8.6 per cent in March of last year.

Nationally nearly 20 thousand jobs were added to the economy however the unemployment rate fell to 6.7 per cent from 6.6 in February.
