Celine Dion’s husband, Rene Angelil died from cancer at the age of 73. The husband and former manager of Dion helped release her first album when she was just twelve years old, and they later married in 1994. Sources say Rene mortgaged his house to help finance Celine Dion’s first album. He quit being her manager in 2014 after his cancer gradually got worse.

Angelil leaves behind their three children, after a lengthy battle with throat cancer that started in 2000. Last year, Dion said she was preparing for her husband’s death and took two breaks from touring and making music to look after her ill husband. “When it hits me, it’s going to hit me,” she said back in August 2015. “But my biggest job is to tell my husband, we’re fine. I’ll take care of our kids. You’ll watch us from another spot.”

Ellen DeGeneres and wife Poria de Rossi have finally adopted a kid! Well, kind of. The adorable couple adopted a 9-week-old puppy and named it “Kid”. Announcing the news on the Ellen show, she said: “I have not talked about this yet, but we have a new puppy. Portia and I got a puppy and his name is Kid so now we have a kid. Yep. I mean, he is absolutely adorable,” while sharing adorable photos of her new puppy. She says while the little guy is “cute as can be,” it is “not cute to wake up at 11, and 1, and 3 and 5. And then 5 is when he’s up, up!”. So why did they name the puppy “Kid”? She says because people are constantly asking her and Portia when they will adopt a real, human kid! “And I named him Kid because, you know, people…There have been rumors forever. ‘When are you and Portia gonna have a kid?’ So, now I can say we have a Kid. So it can just stop.” She says, “It really makes me appreciate what it’s like to be a mother. Because like I’m trying to hold a puppy while I’m trying to make coffee. And I can’t do anything. He doesn’t let me do anything”. A few years ago, Ellen said,  “We love to be around children after they’ve been fed and bathed. But we ultimately decided that we don’t want children of our own. There is far too much glass in our house.” She goes on to explain, “I love kids. But that’s such a big commitment. And it seems long-term. It seems like a commitment that you have to stick with. And I just don’t know if I can—it’s too risky. Like, what if I don’t like the kid?….What if it turns out that it’s not as cute as I wanted or as talented? I’m gonna compare it to all these kids that I have on this show that are so smart and so funny. And I’m like, ‘You are nowhere near these kids I had on today. Sit down and look at this kid I just had on! Do you know all those presidents?’”

WOW! A girl named Quinn Dunki uploaded a YouTube video that has gone viral because he is shown booting up a 20-year-old Apple llc for the first time in decades.

She said, “I took the rare opportunity to dig through the stockpile of childhood belongings in my parents’ basement. Thanks as always, mom and dad, for judiciously moving that stuff from house to house and storing it carefully all these years. I had two singular preservation goals- My Apple IIgs motherboard, and my 5¼” floppy disks”

“I had set out to rescue my 5¼” floppy disk collection. The rated life on these disks was only about 20 years, so the clock is very definitely ticking on all that remain,” she wrote on her blog. She got her favourite old SSI roleplaying game “GemStone Warrior” to work – which came out in 1984.
