James Packer – – Australia’s 4th richest man,  proposed to the American singer seven months after their whirlwind romance started in Italy.  Worth about $3.5 billion, the 48 year old popped the question to 45 year old Carey, who is one of the best-selling artists of all time. On a U.S. talk show, she described how the romance all started, “We first met in Aspen, a couple of years ago. We met at the Hercules premiere. We were talking and laughing and people were getting mad at us and stuff like that. So we hit it off”.

Tammy Pescatelli says she “went too far” when she accused Amy Schumer of stealing jokes, saying so on the Jim Norton Advice Show. The video has been removed – but Pescatelli claimed Schumer stole jokes from her, Kathleen Madigan, Wendy Liebman, and the late Patrice O’Neal. The video compilation actually tried to compare clips of Inside Amy Schumer to bits done by the other comedians.  “I was the last to the party and I drank the most and was the loudest,” Pescatelli said. “I probably should have just stayed out of it and kept my mouth shut.” Meanwhile, Amy Schumer has opened up about the controversy on the same show, telling Norton – “I would never, ever do that, and I never have. I have to come up with so much material for my TV show, this movie, stand-up. And I’m so careful. And none of these things had ever reached me. I will literally take a polygraph. And I just would never do that. That would be so stupid for me to do that.”
