CAA’s Top 10 Worst Roads 2015

C-A-A has published its annual list of the worst roads in Ontario and one Sudbury street made the Top 5.

Highway 144 comes in at #4, after users voted on roads during the month-long campaign.

Three streets in Timmins were on the list, including Algonquin Boulevard East and West, which were Number 1 and Number 2 respectively.

That city’s mayor encouraged residents there to vote during the voting process.

C-A-A says it had a record number of voters this year, with an increase of 26%.

It’s the largest number of voters in the history of the campaign.

The Top 10 Worst Roads list is forwarded on to municipal and provincial governments in hopes that problems will be fixed.

A road could be voted on to the list due to excessive potholes, its need for repairs, traffic congestion and/or safety concerns.
