Starting this week, customers with Greater Sudbury Utilities will notice a message on their utility bill that says GSU is switching from bi-monthly billing to monthly billing.

The notice is to get customers prepared for the change.

The Ontario Energy Board is requiring all local electricity distribution companies to switch to monthly bills after January 1st.

GSU officials are branding it “EasyBilling” and believe the shorter consumption period will make it easier for customers to manage their budgets.
