A First Nations reserve 80-kilometres southeast of Sudbury, is under a State of Emergency.

The community of Dokis First Nation, has water problems after diesel fuel got into the town’s water system earlier this week..

It’s thought to have come from a back-up generator.

There is bottled water for drinking, however residents have to friends and family outside the reserve to bath and shower.

The emergency measures are expected to be lifted once water test results come back improved.

Health Canada is aware of the situation.
