The Former Chief Administrative Officer for Greater Sudbury is entitled to a large severance over $300,000.

Doug Nadorozny left his position at the city in mid April, but there was no public explanation of whose decision it was.

According to the contract he signed in 2009, he is entitled to 14-months pay, if the city terminated his employment.

According to the 2014 Sunshine List, Nadorozny made over $220,000 a year, plus benefits.

Since this is a human resources matter the city won’t comment.

There is a committee looking for a permanent replacement for the CAO, but in the interim, Bob Johnston has taken over the position.
