Users of all terrain vehicles across Greater Sudbury will be happy to hear that the city will soon be changing its bylaws to match the provincial ones recently put in place.

During the city’s Operations Meeting last night, councillors approved the decision to repeal the current municipal bylaw.

On July 1st the province changed its rules to allow more types of the recreational vehicles onto roads and streets, including two-ups and side-by sides.

The existing municipal bylaw would be repealed and replaced with the new rules.

Sudbury City Council must still approve the change…which they’re expected to do at today council meeting.
