Horror fans are not happy today as a legendary director, writer, producer and actor Wes Craven died last night. The 76-year-old was battling brain cancer and died at his LA home surrounded by family.

Craven is the name behind some of the best horror movies ever made including:
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Scream (1,2,3,4)
Freddy vs Jason
The People Under the Stairs
The Hills Have Eyes

MTV VMA host Miley Cyrus kicked off the show with an unexpected shriek by walking the red carpet in a revealing outfit that barely covered her nipples, along with a skirt that literally showed off her assets.

But it was Taylor Swift and Kanye West who were the ultimate stars of last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. T-Swift took 3 Moon Men awards home and Kanye West announced he wants to run for president in 2020. Not only did Swift win the award for Best Pop Video and Best Female Video for “Blank Space,” she also snatched up the Video of the Year for “Bad Blood.” Do you remember the 2009 MTV VMAs when Kanye did this?

Well, this year Taylor had the opportunity to present Kanye with the Video Vanguard Award and she humorously told him she was “going to let [him] finish” and began praising him for having “the best career of all time.” Kanye smiled (for once) and gave a 15-minute-long speech where he not only apologized to Taylor for his infamous behavior in 2009, but he always spoke about him and Kim Kardashian’s daughter North, before doing this…

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj put a very public end to their Twitter feud by teaming up for a girl power-filled collaboration. While Minaj opened the show with a lively performance of her song “Trini Dem Girls,” she was soon joined by Swift for an unexpected duet of “The Night Is Still Young” and “Bad Blood.” The night also found Bieber returning to the awards show stage for the first time in more than two years to perform his new songs “Where Are U Now” and “What Do You Mean?” Although the performance found Bieber showing off his impressive dance moves and flying over the audience, the highlight came when he landed back on stage and broke down in tears of happiness
