Calgary Couple Discuss "Divorce Selfie" 

A couple from Calgary who posted a “divorce selfie“ on Facebook last week say they’re surprised by the backlash they’ve received from the photo. “It was never meant to celebrate divorce,“ says Shannon Neuman, who shared the pic of her and ex-husband Chris Neuman smiling after finalizing their divorce at a local courthouse. “If two people can smile at the end…then that’s a positive.“ She added that she and Chris first separated four years ago and that she got the idea for the selfie after a courthouse employee remarked that they were quite happy for a pair of exes.
