Happy 100th Birthday, Vera!

Her name is Vera Leclair and she just turned 100- years-young, ringing in her Birthday in style! The Coniston resident had two very special birthday requests this year to mark an amazing milestone. Vera wanted to spend the day with family and friends and she wanted her party to take place at OLG Slots at Sudbury Downs. Wishes granted! After all, how can you say no to a woman celebrating her 100th birthday, right?! Vera and her family were given the royal treatment when they arrived. Her favourite slot machine was roped off for this special event and as Vera enjoyed her time on the gaming floor, many people stopped to extend their best wishes.

Vera and her guests were then escorted into a specially decorated party room full of treats and birthday cheer which was all prepared by the staff at OLG Slots at Sudbury Downs.

Three of Vera’s five children were able to be at their mom’s party and were overjoyed to see her so happy. “My mom is a very independent and spirted lady who truly enjoys having a good time,” said Beverly Brassard.

“I had such a wonderful birthday here that I plan to celebrate each of my next birthdays at OLG Slots at Sudbury Downs,” Vera told the gathered crowd. “Thank you so much!”

Vera is so loved that this was in fact her second party to mark her milestone birthday. Over 200 people gathered in her home town of Coniston last week to celebrate with her.
