Jennifer Lien, the actress who played “Kes” in the first three seasons of Star Trek: Voyager, was arrested on September 3 for allegedly exposing herself to three children in Harriman, Tennessee. Lien’s neighbor Carey Smith claims Lien came by her home to complain about how Smith’s children were being raised. “All of a sudden, here come the shirt up,” Smith says. “She started flashing and, ‘Woo hoo,’ and I said, ‘And what respect is that for kids?’ There was none. And then she turned around and dropped her pants.” Police say they later found Lien at home sitting naked on her couch and that she threatened to kill them. She is currently still in jail.

The doughnut drama continues for Ariana Grande. While appearing on Good Morning America yesterday, the pop singer opened up about what she learned from the incident. After being caught licking doughnuts she didn’t pay for and criticizing America at a California shop in July, she says: “There is no excuse and there is nothing to justify it,” she adds, “But you know, I think that as human beings we all say and do things that we don’t mean at all sometimes and we have to learn from it. That’s part of our process.” Grande goes on to explain that the biggest lesson she learned from the whole incident was what it really felt like to disappoint the people who love and believe in her. “And that’s an excruciating feeling”.

Taylor Swift has a lot of A-list celeb friends and many of them have joined her on the 1989 World Tour stage. “The truth is that everyone who has walked the catwalk at one of the shows was already there just to see the show,” Swift says, “Usually I ask them in my pre-show meet and greet if they want to come out onstage… and we just wing it.” Swift says Joan Baez and Julia Roberts were at her Santa Clara show because she saw them before the show and asked them to join her on stage. “Julia’s kids exploded into ‘PLEASE!!’” Taylor says. “So that’s how that happened.”
