A suspicious device found in a home in the Donovan, has been moved to a military base in Petawawa for further examination and detonation.

The explosive experts from CFB Petawawa arrived early Wednesday after what’s believed to be an active grenade was found in a Frood Road house Tuesday afternoon during renovations.

Sudbury Police have released few details except to say the device was decades old.

Until they get further information from the experts the case remains open.
