A dog is missing after a break-in at a local animal shelter.

Greater Sudbury Police say a suspect gained access to the dog pen at the Pet-Save animal Shelter in Lively sometime overnight.

Missing is a one-year old male, Brindle-Mastiff mix who responds to the name Mickey.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.

The dog weights 100 pounds and was wearing a black Kong collar and no name tags.
