Runaway Las Vegas Cat Found After Being AWOL for 10 Years 

A Las Vegas cat was found 10 years after it ran away from a friend’s home, according to UPI.?Heather Whitener was shocked to get a call from The Animal Foundation about her long-lost pet; it had been brought there as a stray.?The cat had been implanted with a microchip; Whitener’s contact information was accessible, so the Foundation was able to locate her.?”He’s a very loving cat,” Whitener said in an interview. “As soon as I started scratching right here, his favorite spot, he’s like, OK.”? 

 

Liquor in Ice Cream? Hey It’s 2020 – Why Not? 

New York’s Gov. Andrew Cuomo used his power to make liquor-infused ice cream legal in the Empire State. He signed legislation authorizing the manufacture and sale of liquor-infused frozen desserts. The measure is intended to help the state’s dairy workers, liquor producers, restaurants and retailers meet an “increasing consumer demand” for alcoholic ice cream, according to a news release.! Per the new law, boozy frozen desserts can contain a maximum of 5% of alcohol by volume and will require the same labeling and warnings as products with wine, beer and cider. (CNN)
