Donuts Finally Come In Handy For The Police In Florida
Maybe it’s a good things police officers seem to have a good relationship with donuts. Officers were trying to figure out what to do about a black bear roaming around Fort Myers, Florida. In such a congested area, tranquilizing the bear wasn’t an option, said Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Officer Adam Brown, as the drugs don’t always work and could cause the bear to run into traffic or residential areas. So instead, officers turned to doughnuts – Krispy Kremes to be exact. Those along with some blueberry pie-scented spray were enough to lure the animal into a humane bear trap. Brown said the bear was relocated to a state-managed wildlife area. Authorities estimate there are about 4,000 black bears in Florida.?(Huffington Post)

When Life Gives You Lemons …set a Guinness Record!
David Rush managed to set a new Guinness World Record by sucking a liter of lemon juice through a straw in under 17 seconds.

Yep, Rush, who has broken more than 100 Guinness records to promote STEM education, emptied the glass containing a whole liter of 100 percent lemon juice in 16.53 seconds.

He noted that he did keep from throwing up after finishing the juice, but his stomach discomfort lasted until the next day.?(Newser)
