School Buses Cancelled In Greater Sudbury, Still Running For Manitoulin

There will be no school buses running today in Greater Sudbury, Massey and Espanola although buses will run in Manitoulin Island.

The Sudbury Student Services Consortium made the call this morning because of poor conditions on most side roads.

Schools are still open.

A snowfall record fell literally yesterday in Greater Sudbury.

Environment Canada says we set a record of over 20 cm hitting the ground for January 23rd which beat a record of 15 cm set in 1982.

The weather agency started keeping these records in 1955.
