Ontario Provincial Police are now working a Homicide case

The grisly discovery of human remains in Elliot Lake has turned into a homicide investigation. OPP say 31-year old Joseph Topping was reported missing in early January and remains found on Valentines day were his.

His death was rule a homicide after a post mortem in Sault Ste Marie on Monday. Police haven’t said how he died nor have they given out any suspect information.
