Superheroes For Little Heroes Once Again Brings Smiles Near Halloween

Superheroes repelled down from the sky to surprise patients on the pediatric unit and NICU at Health Sciences North on Monday.

Dressed as Super-man, Spider-Man, Batman and even Big Nick, Greater Sudbury Police’s Tactical Unit repelled from the roof on a mission to see little heroes.

Neo Kids Foundation President Patricia Mills says the event is two-fold, bringing smiles and joy but also raising awareness for the need to care for young patients in Sudbury.

Matt Guertin aka Wolverine says taking part is an honour.

Mills says November is also NEO Kids month as the NEO Kids Foundation looks to raise money to treat patients at home.

Last year over one million dollars was raised in November.
