What do you do when the FBI is investigating you? Fire the director of the FBI, of course! That’s exactly what President Donald Trump did, firing FBI Director James Comey yesterday.

Comey was leading a criminal investigation into whether Trump’s advisers colluded with Russia to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

However, Trump cited Comey’s controversial handling of the investigation of Clinton’s use of a private email server as the reason for his termination. “It is essential that we find new leadership for the FBI that restores public trust and confidence in its vital law enforcement mission,” Trump’s letter states.

ABC News reports that Comey’s termination was read to him over the phone as he was traveling for the bureau in Los Angeles. Ouch.

Apparently FBI agents and staff are shocked by the news.

Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller has spoken out about being sentenced to a year and a day in prison after being convicted of bankruptcy fraud.

“There’s a few physical limitations, dietary limitations [in prison], of course, but it’ll be OK,” she told Entertainment Tonight just hours later. “It’s a realm of the world I know nothing about. I just know what I know and I do the best I can.” She added, “I know that I didn’t make the right decisions all the time. I think [the punishment’s] just begun.” When asked what message she would like to tell her fans and supporters, she simply responded, “Live and learn.”

Miller’s stint in the slammer will be followed by two years of supervised release, and she’ll also have to fork over $160,000 in fines and restitution. In October 2015, Miller was accused—and eventually convicted—of attempting to hide $775,000 in income she’d earned from the Lifetime spinoff Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, as well as other side projects. Previously, her attorney told People she’d “been battling financial issues for years.”

Calvin Harris appears to have taken a dig at his ex Taylor Swift by recruiting her nemesis Katy Perry to appear on his forthcoming album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.

Fans for both artists think this is a ‘revenge’ track – or “Bad Blood 2.0”

Meanwhile, Katy Perry was asked if her upcoming album featured a “response to Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood”.

She said:

“One thing to note is: You can’t mistake kindness for weakness and don’t come for me… That’s not to any one person and don’t quote me that it is, because it’s not. But, let me say this: Everything has a reaction or a consequence so don’t forget about that, OK honey,” she added with a laugh. While there’s no word on when Perry is dropping her new album, Calvin Harris Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 is scheduled for release Friday, June 30.
