In a new interview with People, Katy Perry says she’s aiming to “redefine what it means to be feminine” with her shorter haircut. “Look at Scarlett Johansson, who’s one of the most beautiful women in the world,” Perry explains. “We have the same haircut and I saw her at an Oscars party and was like, ‘I’m doing it.’ You’re hot, you can be hot and look great with this kind of hair. Why not?” Perry also opened up about the changes in her life that have made her more comfortable in her own skin. “I’m 32 now and I feel great. I’m really accepting of myself and I’ve done a little work in that area and it’s really paying off because I’m having fun and feeling free,”

Adele is officially a married woman! The Grammy winning singer confirmed that she’s married to her longtime partner Simon Konecki during her Brisbane, Australia, concert on Sunday. The 28-year-old made the reveal as she introduced her hit “Someone Like You” and recalled playing it for her family and friends for the first time. “I could see in their eyes as they were listening to it on their headphones that it reminded them of someone or something, and that was what I wanted,” she explained. “I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record. “Because as bad as a break up can be, and as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth–and I am addicted to that feeling.” She added, to a smattering of applause, “Obviously I can’t go through with those feelings because I’m married now. I’ve found my next person.” Adele and Konecki met in 2011 and have a son together, 4-year-old Angelo.

Emma Watson sweetly rescued a reporter from embarrassment during a recent press junket interview for Beauty and the Beast. Video shows the 26-year-old actress interrupting her co-star Dan Stevens in the middle of a lengthy answer. “I’m so sorry. Can I stop you?” she asks him before turning to the journalist. “You would do this for me and I would do this for you. You’ve got pen on your chin.” Watson then gets up and wipes the ink off the woman’s face and asks a makeup artist to hide the remaining hints of smudge with concealer. “I know what it’s like to have something on your face,” she says sympathetically. When the woman admits that she’s embarrassed, Watson exclaims, “No! Don’t be embarrassed!” Awww.

Gilmore Girls fans, rejoice! Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos has confirmed that the streaming site is in “very preliminary” talks with Gilmore Girls creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino about creating additional episodes. “We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped,” he recently told the UK Press Association about the show’s revival. “The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that.” Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life debuted on Netflix the day after Thanksgiving last year and ended with Rory revealing she was pregnant. Viewers took to social media in droves afterward to demand that the story be continued.
