Greater Sudbury Police arrested a 17-year old male after a string of vehicle break-ins.

Officers say they received complaints of someone breaking into unlocked vehicles on Monday morning in the Lamothe and Lasalle blvd. area of New Sudbury.

They arrested the male suspect and found a backpack full of property that police believe was from the vehicles.

The young man now faces five different charges.

Police are reminding the public to always lock your vehicle and for residents in the area to check their vehicles to see if any items are missing
