Alicia Keys went to the MTV VMAs this past weekend and instead of people talking about her incredibly touching tribute to Martin Luther King, they chose to focus on the fact that she wasn’t wearing any makeup.

The 15-time Grammy award-winning singer has been going au naturel since she started her #NoMakeupMovement in May 2016, saying it’s the “most empowered, most free, and most honestly beautiful” she has ever felt.

And of course, people gotta hate on her for being happy. **rolls eyes**

After her appearance at the VMAs, people were accusing her of wearing makeup and lying about being makeup free. Others? Just as low.

Keys, responded to the haters on Twitter, clarifying that she has no problem with makeup, she just chooses not to wear it anymore. “Y’all, me choosing to be makeup free doesn’t mean I’m anti-makeup. Do you! ??”

“I hope to God it’s a revolution,” she wrote. “‘Cause I don’t want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams. Nothing.”

Calvin Harris knows that if you’ve got it, you should flaunt it–which is exactly what he did on Instagram yesterday when he posed for a pic in his tighty whities to celebrate his manager’s birthday. And the internet doesn’t seem to mind one bit!

“Happy birthday to my manager @gillespiemark. I love you,” Harris captioned the pic of him in nothing but white boxer briefs – – standing in a hotel hallway next to a fully-clothed Gillespie. Billboard says Harris wore Armani undies in the pic, the same company he has modeled for in the past.


Bill Nye The Science Guy will be launching a talk-show on Netflix in 2017. The streaming service says, “Bill Nye Saves The World” will “explore science and its impact on politics, society and pop culture”.

Each episode will scientifically dissect and dispel myths while examining anti-scientific claims.

Dive into an adorable puppy’s smile or into every detail of your friend’s new shirt. Over the past six months, you’ve seen many exciting changes come to Instagram, from a new icon to longer videos and even a new way to share everyday moments with Instagram Stories.
