Back before he joined The Voice, Blake Shelton wrote some tweets that could be construed as offensive to gays and Mexicans. They recently resurfaced online, and yesterday Shelton issued a statement–via Twitter, naturally–which read, “Everyone knows comedy has been a major part of my career…That said, anyone that knows me also knows I have no tolerance for hate of any kind or form. Can my humor at times be inappropriate? Yes. Hateful? Never. That said, I deeply apologize to anyone who may have been offended.” Meanwhile, Page Six reports that Voice publicists are threatening to restrict access to the show’s stars for outlets who fail to lay off Shelton’s scandal.

Being Taylor Swift’s boyfriend comes with some serious perks. Us Weekly reports that the the singer sent her private jet to escort Tom Hiddleston from Los Angeles to Rhode Island last weekend. The 26-year-old singer invited the 35-year-old British actor to her oceanfront mansion to spend quality time with her and her parents. Hiddleston was spotted boarding the jet with an overnight backpack and a gift bag. Meanwhile, Swift was later spotted greeting him upon his arrival in the Ocean State.
