Greater Sudbury Police have two men in custody…charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting in Wahnipitae.

The Greater Sudbury Police Tactical Unit convergfed on a home on Bruce Street earlier this afternoon.

It ended with one man in handcuffs being led out of the home through the front door.

Police say the investigation continues as they look for more people that may have been involved.

The incident began when officers responded to the scene on a reported shooting on Mountain View Street around 7 o’clock this morning.

The victim, an unidentified man was taken to hospital with serious injuries….at last report was listed in stable condition.

This afternoon Police confirmed a gun had been found near a silver Kia Spectra that’s believed to have been involved and was recovered abandoned on the Kingsway, East of Falconbridge Road.
