The Wolves continue to tinker with their line-up.

The local juniors have acquired overage defenceman Aiden Jamieson from the London Knights in exchange for a conditional 15th round draft pick in 2017.

“We are extremely excited to be adding Aiden Jamieson to our blueline,” said Sudbury Wolves General Manager Barclay Branch.

“It is exciting to add Aiden’s wealth of experience, his championship pedigree, and his strong leadership to our young line-up heading into next season.”

Jamieson is 6’2, 187 pounds and was an Assistant Captain with the Memorial Cup champion Knights last season.

He’s played three seasons with London, playing in a total of 137 regular season games, 31 OHL playoff games and six Memorial Cup games.

“It’s bittersweet for me,” said Aiden. “I am going to miss my friends in London, but I am really excited for the opportunity in Sudbury and coming to play for the Wolves this season.”

When asked to describe his style of play, he described himself as a puck-moving defenceman who takes care of his own end first and helps out wherever he can.
