On last night’s episode of America’s Got Talent, Simon Cowell used his coveted golden buzzer on a teenage cancer survivor. (The golden buzzer allows a judge to send a competitors directly to the live shows, regardless of what the other judges vote. Each judge gets to use it once per season.)  The magical moment came when 16-year-old Calysta Bevier, who overcame stage three ovarian cancer, performed an emotional–and very fitting–cover of Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song.” After she brought the audience to tears, Simon told Calysta that he “loved everything” about her and sent her through to the next round. The night also featured professional football player Jon Dorenbros, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, wowing the judges with his surprising off-season talent: card tricks.

Demi Lovato has returned to Twitter less than a day after calling it quits on the social media platform. “F**k this… I’m back b**ches,” Lovato tweeted on Tuesday. “And I’m coming back more honest than ever.” She followed that tweet with a second featuring three emojis: the sunglasses smiley, flipping the bird and a devil. Lovato previously announced on Monday that she was leaving both Twitter and Instagram because she was tired of haters slamming her for sharing her opinions.

Oprah Winfrey revealed on yesterday’s episode of Live With Kelly that she receives flowers from her dogs on every major holiday. “Flowers for Mother’s Day, flowers for my birthday, flowers for Valentine’s Day,” Oprah confirmed to Ripa and her co-host Josh Groban. The media mogul went on to explain that her longtime partner Stedman Graham even “helps them write their notes… about what’s happened during the year.” While the whole thing is a bit strange, it’s good to see that Oprah is making Stedman earn his keep.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk says that the Model S Tesla car floats “well enough to turn it into a boat,” with the rotation of its wheels providing thrust in the water.

Musk tweeted the comment after sharing a link to a video showing a Model S “swimming” through a flooded tunnel in Kazakhstan. While Tesla doesn’t recommend driving ANY vehicle through a large body of water, the Tesla Model S did keep out liquids for the most part, allowing Musk to push through the water easily.

Musk LOVES cars that turn into boats. Back in 2013, he bought James Bond’s submarine car.
