Parts of Ontario bracing for a major winter storm.

Here in the Northeast a Winter Storm Watch is in effect.

Snow is expected to hit Greater Sudbury starting Thursday night with as much as 15 cm possible.

Environment Canada says current indications suggest that the heaviest snow will fall from the Bruce Peninsula northeast across Georgian Bay toward the Algonquin and Nipissing areas.

Traveling conditions are expected to quickly deteriorate tomorrow night as heavy snow and blowing snow reduces visibility in some areas.
