“Wonderful Life” singer Colin Vearncombe, aka Black, passed away at the age of 53. The official announcement was made on Vearncombe’s Facebook page Tuesday night. The post said, “Colin Vearncombe, 26/5/1962 – 26/1/2016, You’ll never walk alone. A full statement will follow shortly.”
Black was in a car accident earlier this month, suffering a severe head injuries before being placed in an induced coma. His condition didn’t get any better, in fact, it “seriously deteriorated” over time, according to updates on his website.  We acknowledge the grief among all those who love him and are deeply grateful for the thousands of messages of love and support however there will be no more news updates while his family remain at his bedside.” The statement finished saying, “As before, we request that they are given space to deal with this most difficult of situations.”

Kesha has been forbidden from releasing any music since filing an October lawsuit against her producer, Dr. Luke for alleged sexual abuse. Her latest hearing for the lawsuit happens today, but Kesha is staying positive and thanking fans for their support in a newly uploaded video. Because she can’t release any original music, she has been having fun recording covers. Over the weekend, the fan account@keshatoday posted a bedroom phone recording of the artist singing “Amazing Grace,” after sending a message to her fans, “I love you guys more than you will ever know, it’s like, mind-blowing.”

Yesterday marked the 1 month until Fuller House’s February 26th premiere and to celebrate, Netflix released some behind-the-scenes footage.

Actress Candace Cameron Bure says, “Fuller House carries the same emotional, loving, family tone through the show that the original did….but it’s sort of the reverse.” Meanwhile, Jodie Sweetin says, “We are a family and have been since we started doing this show 28 years ago, and have only gotten closer.”

So far, every episode of Spike Lee’s Lip Sync Battle has been epic! From Anne Hathaway hanging on Miley Cyrus’s wrecking ball to John Krasinski rocking a sequinned, Tina Turner style dress, and of course, how could we forget Channing Tatum’s awesome Frozen, “Let It Go” performance….it’s getting tougher to top the last performance. Next Thursday’s Lip Sync Battle is something to get excited about, after a 30 second sneak peek was just released. Josh Gad, the voice of Frozen’s Olaf went up against  “The Big Bang Theory” actress Kaley Cuoco. Gad, is dressed up as Donald Trump while delivering some very dangerous dance moves to the 90’s hit, “I Touch Myself”.

The picture above is NOT a raccoon! Nope! It’s a dog. Tanukis, a subspecies of the Asian raccoon dog, are cultural icons in Japan. Twitter user @chibi_tori has been sharing photos of her Tanuki dog named “Tanu”. According to fans who follow the posts, Tanu enjoys playing in the snow, but then curls up close to a small stove to stay warm for nap -time. Tanu sleeps plenty during the wintertime. @chibi_tori reportedly took Tanu into her care after finding him abandoned, and now feeds him healthy, nutritious meals.
Facts About Tanukis:
-Tanukis are not closely related to raccoon, in fact, they belong to the Canidae family.
-Your fur coat might be made of raccoon dog fur. Back in 2008, the Humane Society of the United States filed a false advertising claim against  roughly 20 U.S. retailers after allegedly finding that 70% of faux fur clothing they examined did contain raccoon dog fur.
-They are the only canines that hibernate during the winter.

A group of students started a social media campaign for their teacher and now the hashtag “#YoungmanOnEllen” is trending worldwide. This teacher is so special to the school, that current and former students of Kathryn Youngman are hoping to get her on “The Ellen Show”. She’s also a huge fan of the show! The Spanish teacher goes to school everyday, despite being in the midst of her third battle with cancer and undergoing chemotherapy on a bi-weekly basis.
