The third-quarter non-tax gaming revenue payment came out from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, meaning Greater Sudbury will get just over 485 thousand dollars for hosting Sudbury downs.

The payments are through the Municipality Contribution Agreement and can be used on public services for the city.

Since 1999 OLG has paid out more than 35 million dollars in non-tax revenue to Sudbury.

Annually OLG provides 2 billion dollars to the province.
