Espanola Hospital Expands Emergency Dept

The Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre’s Emergency Department is now larger and more efficient.

With a 4.7-million dollar investment from the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, the hospital was able to expand and redesign its emergency department.

There are now eleven treatment rooms…double the patient capacity they had before.

There is also more support space, a new ambulance bay and a new medication room.
