Workers at the Slots at Sudbury Downs have ratified a new collective agreement with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

The lock-out started September 19th after talks broke down over pension rights and benefits.

A release from Unifor says pensions will be from day one with the new Operator and negotiations will take place within 6 months following any takeover.

The union says there is an increase in wages, a signing bonus as well as numerous language changes.

The deal was also approved by workers at Casino Brantford and Woodbine Racetrack.
