The federal N-D-P party has rolled out it’s platform for Northern Ontario.

Six candidates, representing the north, gathered in Sudbury this morning to unveil almost $1.5 billion in spending promises.

That includes $447-million over four years for critical First Nations infrastructure, $1-billion for Ring of Fire infrastructure and an increase in funding for FedNor of $12.6 million.

On hand for the announcement were Claude Gravelle (Nickel Belt), Paul Loewenberg (Sudbury),  Charlie Angus (Timmins-James Bay), Carol Hughes (Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing), Skip Morrison (Sault Ste. Marie) and Kathleen Jodouin (Nipissing-Timiskaming).
