The rumors are true! Sam Smith confirmed that he’s recorded the theme for the upcoming James Bond film Spectre. The track, called “Writing’s on the Wall,” was recorded in January but was hush hush until now.  Sam couldn’t be more excited, “this is one of the highlights of my career…..I am honored to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song. I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations”. Spectre director Sam Mendes revealed in July that the theme had already been recorded and sounded “fantastic.” Other popular artists who’ve recorded Bond themes include Adele, Madonna and Paul McCartney.

It looks like Kermit the Frog isn’t the only one moving on…Miss Piggy has a new boyfriend!  Even though ABC’s Muppets reboot doesn’t premiere until September 22, there is already lots of behind-the-scenes relationship drama. Since Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog announced their breakup, Kermit’s been seen canoodling with another female pig who some feel resembles a Kardashian sister. Now,Entertainment Weekly reports that Piggy’s new beau is none other than singer Josh Groban, who met the porky princess on the set of the film Muppets Most Wanted. Groban is one of several stars who will appear in early episodes; others include Reese Witherspoon, Ezliabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth, and Imagine Dragons.

Who’s that girl? The Weeknd looks like he’s making his relationship official. The 25 year old singer was seen out in public holding hands with 18-year-old model Bella Hadid.  potted holding hands while clubbing in New York. There were rumors the two were seeing each other back in May, but have never officially confirmed their relationship. Meanwhile, The Weeknd now holds a new record as every song on The Weeknd’s latest album Beauty Behind the Madness has now charted on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Sources say, 10 of the set’s tracks debuted on the chart this week, and combined with two other tracks from the album, have given the Weeknd “a total of 12 concurrent songs on the chart”.
