WILL YOU BE PROTESTING NEW SEX ED CURRICULUM TOMORROW?

Here’s what your child will be learning:
Grade 1: proper names for body parts
Grade 2: broad concept of consent “no means no”.
Grade 3: concepts of gender identity
Grade 4 & 5: puberty
Grade 6: intercourse, masturbation and “gender expression”
Grades 7 & 8: contraception, anal and oral sex, preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.

Students will also learn about online bullying and the dangers of sharing “sexually explicit images electronically”.

A new advertisement (below) has some parents furious. The ad features five children from various ethnic backgrounds who are in a variety of different situations, ranging from  a teen apparently being cyber-bullied to a younger boy seeing two grooms atop a wedding cake, a teenage girl considering taking a provocative picture of herself, a girl being guided towards a bedroom by a boy, and a young woman concerned by her physical appearance in the mirror. The tagline at the end of the video says, “Our kids have questions. The sex ed and health curriculum can help.”
