The Laurentian University women’s hockey team hits the ice this week in preparation for the 2015-16 O-U-A season.

The Lady V’s had a tough season last year finishing with a record of 3-16-5, but Head Coach Stacey Colarossi says they’ve added some pieces that will make them better this year.

There are five new players and the team has added a new Assistant Coach who will help with scouting players from Southern Ontario.

Colarossi says they will be relying heavily on their veterans..a group of core players going into their third year.

The Lady V’s open their season in North Bay against the Nipissing Lakers, October 3rd and then play their home opener October 9th versus the Laurier Golden Hawks.
