Greater Sudbury Police have been forced to shoot two more bears.

The latest incident was this morning after a complaint from residents on Kingslea Court.

A mother bear was put down after she became aggressive and charged at officers.

Two cubs were tranquilized and taken to a wildlife refuge.

Sunday night residents along McAllister Avenue in New Sudbury called police to report an injured bear limping around the neighbourhood.

Police found it in a backyard, but since the animal was unable to move, the bear was shot.

Witnesses reported hearing gunshots just before seeing the injured bear and now police are trying to get information on how the animal was injured.
