Over 140 golfers are teeing up today to help the men’s and women’s varsity hockey teams at Laurentian University.

Today is the third annual Voyageurs Hockey Golf Classic at Idylwyle Golf and Country Club.

The men’s hockey team Coach Craig Duncanson says the event is both a fundraiser and a networking event, a chance to connect with local leaders and business people.

Both the men’s and women’s hockey teams at Laurentian begin their new season mid September.
