Accident numbers are down across the board in Greater Sudbury according to a police report.

The study looked at numbers from January to June of this year compared to the same time frame last year, and overall there were 1,902 collisions, down 125 from last year.

Pedestrian collisions were cut in half, at 16 compared to 34 last year.

And impaired collisions were also down slightly, at 32, with the majority happening on the weekend.
